Giving Back

The Annandale Class of 1974 has made its mark on the world. Our families, schools, careers and spare time activities help define who we are. For many of us, AHS was the springboard to the person we became.

Now, 50 years after our graduation, we have the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy at our alma mater - a sign of our appreciation and encouragement to future classes.

Annandale is today a vibrant, successful and respected high school. It deserves our support so that the current student body feels the pride we feel and gets shares the experience we enjoyed.

Help us Help!

AHS has undertaken a project to refresh their sports facilities. If you joined us at the Homecoming game, you were impressed with the new turf and prominent Atoms logo on the field. The gym has been repainted as well.

NThe Class of ‘74 has committed to supporting the addition of a large Atoms mural above the stands that will take the Atoms branding to a new level.

A rendering of of the upgrade is at right. Imagine how the additional artwork will enhance school pride and the “home court advantage!”

Well, our class responded in a big way, raising over $10,000 and far surpassing our goal of $5,000 to support the cost of the mural plus wall pads with the Atoms’ logo. That’s an amazing accomplishment by the Class of ‘74!

The results of our generosity were presented to the Atoms Boosters on November 9th at the annual AHS Hall of Fame dinner and induction.

Thank you to to the Annandale Class of 1974 for making another lasting impact on our alma mater that will be enjoyed for many years to come!
